A screen restricted interface takes the top left corner of the available screen as a starting point and starts to build up the user facing surface from there. Screen width and screen height plays a major role in this process. Navigation happens by tapping or clicking on an item and then partially or fully restarting the screen build up process. One always deals with a one level, limited screen real estate.
