I came across my badges in my apartment and realized they provide a great summary of what I did in 2024 —aside from the SAP projects, which I can’t discuss in detail.

Service Design Day Budapest was one of the highlights of 2024, I felt very “homey” there. There were a bunch of interesting lectures, but what was really amazing at the end was a communication and “self representation” workshop. I still remember playing in groups the “only one person can move at a time” game. I think all developers and designers can profit immensely from these games and practice being not too big and not too small in a group.

We had a great University Day, the first one after 25 years????. It was good to experience where I came from. They also showed us around in the new buildings of the university.

I participated as a game developer in HunJam, a jam session to create simple and impressive games. The theme was „changing time”, so we created a platformer where you could change time and make sure our small girl passed all challenges.

I applied as a mentor for the Digi Edu Hack event in Budapest. “Hacking Education” and creating innovative learning methods are my specialties, and I’m eager to make a significant impact in this field.
Usually, I participate as an attendee and occasionally as a workshop presenter. This time, I was excited to take on a new role and support a team as a mentor. With two mentors guiding a group of three participants, we were able to address all their questions. I believe that service design and market research are valuable tools for almost any idea.

What is missing here: there was a very interesting event in Halbe: “VR Mondo Symposium on language learning in VR”. This workshop was about innovative language learning methods and how to find real user needs for this. We had many interesting lectures and conversations in the VR Mondo center in Halbe.
